Gone Astray's January success continued at Gulfstream Park on Friday when Dealer's Girl broke her maiden in her second career start under Paco Lopez and became her sire's fifth winner of the young season. The New Jersey-bred 3-year-old filly battled head-and-head for the lead for half a mile before taking over in the stretch and prevailing by three-quarters of a length in 1:12.37 for the six furlongs. Dealer's Girl was sent off favored at 90 cents to a dollar after her sharp second-place finish in her Dec. 7 debut. She earned $15,600 for owner/breeder Richard Malouf . . . Gone Astray will be represented in two of the four OBS Championship races Tuesday at the Ocala Training Center. Heart Astray drew the No. 1 post for trainer Glen Wismer in the eighth race, the $50,000 OBS Sprint Stakes for fillies. Erin Walker will be aboard in the race that will feature win, place, show and exacta wagering. Bill's Legacy will leave from post 3 in the 10th race, the $100,000 OBS Championship Stakes for fillies, with Luca Panici getting the call from trainer Stanley Gold. There will be no wagering on this race.
