Not to be outdone by the Saturday heroics of Gone Astray and United States, Flashstorm added a little flair of his own on Sunday when Caribean Spirit made it two straight with a wire-to-wire victory at Arapahoe Park. The 3-year-old colt bounced the infamous "bounce" theory by getting his two wins just seven days apart. Tracy Hebert guided Caribean Spirit to a one-half length score, clocked in 1:11.51 for the six furlongs, the colt's third victory overall. With the victory, Flashstorm boosted his 2016 progeny earnings to $404,168.
