Gone Astray gained his eighth winner of 2015 when Going Bold broke her maiden racing a mile and one-sixteenth on the grass at Tampa Bay Downs Sunday. The 3-year-old filly ended a string of fourth-place finishes under Scott Spieth, who took her virtually wire-to-wire after the leader bolted going to the first turn. Going Bold opened up a three-length lead in mid-stretch and eased home by 1 1/2. Off at odds of 8-1, she rewarded her followers with a $20.80 payoff.
