Secret Room won for the third time in six career starts when he came from behind to score by 1 1/4 lengths racing six furlongs at Santa Anita on May 27. The 3-year-old colt by Gone Astray was taken back to fifth in the early going by Rafael Bejarano, then made a three-wide move entering the stretch and drew off late to score in 1:10.04. Off at even money and paying $4.20, Secret Room collected a check for $15,600 . . . Flashing Cat made it two victories and a second in his last three starts with an impressive wire-to-wire score racing a flat mile at Gulfstream Park on Sunday. With Eddie Castro in the irons, the 4-year-old son of Flashstorm took the lead at the start and continued to increase his margin, coasting through the stretch by 5 1/2 lengths and wrapped up by four at the wire. The victory was worth $9,100 to Flashing Cat, who boosted his record to 3-2-0 in 10 starts.
