Gone Astray Kiss, a rare New Jersey-bred son of Gone Astray, overcame the rain and a sloppy track at Monmouth Park yesterday to score a smart victory at six furlongs under Edwin Gonzalez. The 3-year-old gelding bred by Judy Sessa sat just behind the leaders early, came between horses in the stretch and kissed the field goodbye, drawing off by three lengths and paying $20.20. Gone Astray Kiss had broken his maiden at the recent Tampa Bay Downs meeting, and earned $8,400 for his second victory . . . At Indiana Grand Race Course, Bohemian Soul made it two straight for owner Cindy Patrick, formerly a successful jockey at Tampa Bay Downs. Bohemian Soul, bred by Northwest Stud and ridden again by Leandro Goncalves, battled head-and-head for the lead for the entire mile with 9/10 favorite Weekend Special, then held on gamely for the score in a three-horse photo. It was the 4-year-old gelding's third victory and was worth $6,600.
