Having the race come off the grass and switched to a sloppy main track didn't bother Going Bold at Tampa Bay Downs yesterday and the 3-year-old daughter of Gone Astray rallied from off the pace to become her sire's 12th winner of the year. With Orlando Bocachica aboard, Going Bold sat behind the leaders down the backstretch in the 1 1/16-mile test and moved two wide on the turn to begin her charge. Then Bocachica cleverly guided her back to an open rail and Going bold swept into the lead at the top of the stretch. She stubbornly held off 7/5 favorite Quasante down the lane and prevailed by three-quarters of a length to notch her third career victory while earning a check for $8,100.
