Abounding Legacy, Flashstorm's leading earner, became stakes-placed at Gulfstream Park on Sunday, finishing a game third in the $75,000 Sea of Grass Stakes at 6 1/2 furlongs. With Elvis Trujillo riding, the 4-year-old gelding bred by Northwest Stud rushed to the lead from the No. 2 post and was engaged by several foes from the outside the entire way, finally winding up just one length back at the wire. Abounding Legacy collected a check for $7,200 and raised his total to $163,740. He's 4-4-3 in 14 career starts and has finished worse than fourth just once . . . Another Flashstorm runner bred by Northwest, Twotwenty, broke his maiden racing a flat mile at Assiniboia Downs on Saturday. The 3-year-old gelding moved up from fourth on the turn, took the lead entering the stretch, and held it by 1 1/2 lengths at the wire. It was another 9 1/2 lengths back to the third-place finisher.
