The 4-year-old son of Gone Astray settled nicely into fourth place early under Richard Eramia, followed the three leaders until the turn, then swept up on the outside to take the lead entering the lane and held off second choice Hard to Impress by one-half length after a long stretch battle. Conquest Goinggone's first score was accomplished in 1:36.77 and was worth $12,240. He's been first, second or third in six of his nine starts.
