Minute Madness became Gone Astray's 17th winner from his first crop and ninth this year, when he wired the field under Eddie Castro in a $50,000 maiden special at Gulfstream Park yesterday. The 3-year-old gelding, bred by Mari George, owner of the Indianapolis Speedway, was a $9,500 OBS August yearling, and the $31,000 he earned in just his third start increased his total to $43,700. Minute Madness won by a neck and was clocked in 1:12.37 for the six furlongs.
