Gone Astray's sensational season showed no let-up heading into the weekend as he picked up winner No. 44 in New York on Friday and No. 45 in Florida on Saturday. At Aqueduct, Jose Lezcano gave the 2-year-old Port More the perfect ride racing six furlongs, coming from fourth place on the rail, splitting horses at the top of the stretch, and running down the leader late to score by 1 1/4 lengths. It was the first victory for the colt, who was sent off at 4/5 and earned a check for $21,000 . . . At Gulfstream West, Bill's Legacy helped celebrate Sunshine Millions Preview Day with a wire-to-wire victory in a $40,000 maiden special at 7 1/2 furlongs over the turf course. Luca Panici guided the 2-year-old filly, who scored by nearly three lengths. The winner's share of $24,000 propelled Gone Astray over the $2.2 million mark in progeny earnings for the year.
