The 2-year-old filly became her sire's 31st winner in her third start, vying for the lead at the outset in the six-furlong race, then drawing off at the top of the stretch under Edgard Zayas to prevail by 3 1/2 lengths as the 5/2 favorite. Dazzling Dixie also became Gone Astray's fifth 2-year-old winner of 2016 and his progeny earnings soared to $1,216,427.
