Gone Astray extended his hot streak at Gulfstream Park yesterday thanks to the smart victory of Sassy Astray at a mile and one-sixteenth on the grass. Florida's fifth-ranked sire now has added six winners to his ledger in the past six days. Sassy Astray had the services of Tyler Gaffalione, who was aboard Patch in the Kentucky Derby on Saturday, and Tyler rode the 4-year-old filly to perfection. He sat second behind 6/5 favorite Strayana until the final turn, moved his filly up on the outside entering the stretch and drew off  to win by daylight, clocked in 1:42.86. It was Sassy Astray's second victory at the meeting and was worth a check for $10,000.
