Gone Astray's success on the holiday weekend continued into Sunday when Gone With It broke his maiden at Santa Anita, and became the 21st winner of 2016 for his sire. The 3-year-old gelding battled head-and-head on the front end for the entire five furlongs under Tyler Baze, and prevailed by one-half length at the wire clocked in :57.40. Gone With It, bred by Northwest Stud, earned a check for $13,800. He has finished in the top four in 11 of his 12 career starts.
