New York-bred Bluemoonofsaratoga showed up at Mountaineer Casino Racetrack & Resort yesterday after a layoff of more than 10 months and proved to be more than ready for her seventh career start. The 4-year-old filly by Gone Astray took the lead at the outset in the 5-furlong allowance race and continued on for a head victory over Ever Amazing, the 3/5 favorite. Bluemoonofsaratoga became the 21st winner for her sire this year and now sports a record of 3-2-0 in her seven tries. The winner's check of $9,628 raised her earnings to $51,926, an average of more than $7,400 per start . . . At Tampa Bay Downs, Turned Back Twice also went wire-to-wire with leading rider Daniel Centeno in the irons, scoring by nearly three lengths, and clocked in 1:25.97 for the seven furlongs. The 5-year-old daughter of Flashstorm went off as the 2-1 second choice. Bred by Northwest Stud, she is the 14th winner for her sire this year out of just 28 starters.
