Gone Astray closed out a successful week in Florida, picking up three winners in the span of five days. At Gulfstream Park, Scotland Bay tracked in second place under John Cruz while Scoff put up fractions of :22.42 and :45:77, then blew by the 6/5 favorite and drew clear by 1 1/2 lengths in 1:11.02 for the six furlongs. It was the second victory at the meeting for the 3-year-old filly, and was worth $12,900 . . . At Tampa Bay Downs, Going Bold scored her second victory in her last three starts, coming from mid-pack with Scott Spieth, taking the rail route on the turn, and sprinting clear in the stretch to win by 2 1/2 lengths. The 3-year-old filly earned $10,620 after getting a mile on the grass in 1:37.08 . . . Lone Cat also scored impressively at Tampa, breaking her maiden in her third start. The 3-year-old filly went wire-to-wire as the 3/2 favorite under leading rider Antonio Gallardo, winning by 2 1/4 lengths and collecting $8,480 for the effort at 6 1/2 furlongs.
