The 4-year-old daughter of Gone Astray battled Cowtown Spirit into defeat, and after putting away the 9/10 favorite, gamely held off 9/5 second choice Kentucky Dancer by a neck. The victory lifted Gone Astray's progeny earnings to $400,156 . . . Flashstorm enjoyed a good week with three 3-year-old winners, Enterate and Camacho Laurel M. scoring at Camarero Race Track in Puerto Rico and Flashy Julia winning at Turfway Park. Enterate, bred by Northwest Stud, won by 6 1/4 lengths and is a perfect 3-4-1 in eight starts. Camacho Laurel M., bred by Inversiones Fl LLC and Felice Iadisernia, won for the first time in five starts, and Flashy Julia, another Northwest Stud product, rallied from way back to get up for her first victory by a nose.
