Gone Astray is nearing the $1 million mark in progeny earnings for 2016 after adding two more maiden winners to his ledger, Got Glee at Gulfstream Park on Sunday and True Belief at Penn National Saturday night. After finishing second in her debut three weeks earlier, Got Glee went virtually wire-to-wire in a $55,000 maiden special under Luca Panici, scoring by two lengths as the 2-1 second choice. The 2-year-old filly owned and bred by Janice Clark became winner No. 27 this year for her sire and collected a check for $36,000, bringing Gone Astray's earnings to $961,007 . . . True Belief broke his maiden under Mychel Sanchez with another wire-to-wire effort over a sloppy surface as the 70 cents to $1 favorite. The 3-year-old colt really turned it on after reaching the quarter in :22.30, opening up a six-length lead in the stretch and cruising to the wire 11 lengths in front.
